Stone Medical, established in 2019, is a Swiss Technologies of New England DBA. Shawn Gaskin, the owner, had found a passion for the innovation and complexity of medical device manufacturing while working 21 years ago as a traditional Swiss CNC machine shop. In 2022 Shawn has continued his passion and opened Stone Medical in January 2020.
Stone Medical is a Swiss CNC Machine Shop that specializes in medical device manufacturing. Stone is both ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485: 2016 certified. As mentioned in a previous blog, ISO 13485:2016 “is designed to respond to the latest quality management system practices, including changes in technology and regulatory requirements and expectations. We produce medical devices and instruments such as spine, knee, and hip implants. Surgical instruments such as biopsy tubes, implant holders, and spacers. Machined parts for electronic medical equipment, such as parts for CT scanners and heart rate monitors. And micromachining, which sometimes requires extremely small components under 50 microns, is used for exploratory surgical tools and pacemaker components, to name a few. We also provide custom parts designed to meet your specifications.
